"The Future in The Field of Energy and Oil"

The secondary school, girls section at Al-Kifah Academy held a workshop entitled "The Future in the Field of Energy and Oil" in partnership with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), where the workshop targeted twelve-grade students and was aimed at giving them a general idea about the field of petroleum engineering in terms of study and work. The workshop included many useful information about oil as an industry and the specializations of work in it and an explanation of the common and false ideas about energy sources.
The workshop was presented by Eng. Sarah Al-Amer and Eng. Fatima Al-Ali, members of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
It is worth mentioning that the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) was established in the United States of America in 1957, and its branch was established in Saudi Arabia two years after that date, i.e. in 1959. It is the largest branch outside the United States and has approximately 11,000 members inside Saudi Arabia.
